A STEAM Adventure Camp for rising 6th & 7th Grade
A hands-on technology adventure camp for middle schoolers
The Marist Technology Department invites all middle school students to a camp where every day the focus is on new and exciting technology.
This camp is designed for all students, regardless of current interest in technology. Using design thinking and real-world tools, campers will work like real designers, engineers, and scientists.
Adventures include:
Immersive MediaExperience full immersion in virtual worlds. Learn the basics of producing virtual and augmented reality content.
3D PrintingAnalyze a real-world problem, design a practical solution, create a software model and 3D print a prototype.
FlightThis day is all about flight. Learn to fly using our most-advanced flight simulator. Build your own drone and observe the principles of aerodynamics in action. Conduct flying exercises and capture aerial photography with an unmanned aerial vehicle.
Reverse EngineeringApply principles of mathematics and science to uncover the mysteries of technology. Disassemble and reassemble common electronic devices to see how they work.
