CAMP DIRECTOR
BRENDAN MURPHY (HEAD VARSITY BOYS SOCCER COACH)

The War Eagle Soccer Camp is enjoying it's 15th year this summer.  The camp was created by Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach Brendan Murphy.  Coach Murphy played soccer for the University of Notre Dame.  With a winning percentage of 75% in his 20 seasons as Head Coach at Marist, he has won numerous coaching awards including the Coach-of-the-Year in 1998 and 2006, given by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  He has guided the War Eagles to 5 Final Four appearances, was State Runner-Up in 1998 and State Champions in 2006 and 2009.

CAMP DIRECTOR
CHANDLER YOUNT (HEAD VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER COACH)
Coach Chandler Yount is in his 7th year at Marist School as the Assistant Athletic Director and is also the Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach.  He has worked in Athletic Administration for more than 20 years, serving in a variety of sports industry environments ranging from Christian Recreation to a Division I basketball program.

In each of these athletic settings, he know he has been called to reach people through athletics.  One of the ways that he has done this is through camp design and implementation.  His belief centers on developing camps that will create an environment that is fun and skill driven, which will enable the campers (no mater their ability) to enjoy the overall experience while learning more about the sport they love.  Coach Yount also brings enthusiasm for all athletics into his coaching methods.  He has played soccer almost all his life and has coached soccer for almost 15 years. Numerous athletes whom he has coached have gone on to compete at the Division I and other college levels.

Coach Chandler Yount's wife, Alyssa is the owner of Cobblestone Therapy Group in Roswell, Georgia.  They have three boys, Colby (12), Candler (9) and Cooper (5).
